5K Inflatable Obstacle Course for Mid Cheshire Hospitals Charitable Fund

Our group of willing runners took part in a 5k inflatable obstacle course in Knutsford as part of our latest charity event, raising vital funds for our chosen charity for 2025, Mid Cheshire Hospitals Charity NICU unit. A NICU baby refers to a newborn infant who requires specialised medical care in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). NICUs are specialised hospital units that provide intensive care for premature or sick newborns, often those who were born too early, had low birth weight, or had health conditions that need extra support.

It was tough, but fun, and all for a great cause, so we encouraged everyone to follow the link to donate and share it far and wide to help us raise funds for this superb charity, supporting babies who needed it most.

Wear it Pink! Breast Cancer Awareness Month

In October, our team proudly wore pink to show support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, helping to drive awareness for a cause that affects so many lives. Breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK, with around 55,000 women and 400 men diagnosed each year. By joining in the nationwide campaign, we’re encouraging everyone to take proactive steps through regular self-checks and participation in the national screening programme, which play a vital role in early detection and improved outcomes.

Baking for a Brilliant Cause

A huge well done to all the bakers, buyers, and eaters who made our bake sale fundraiser such a sweet success! Together, we raised an amazing £328 for the Mid Cheshire Hospitals Charity. The enthusiasm from the Unette team was truly inspiring - with tables full of delicious cakes, biscuits, and pastries, and a fantastic turnout from everyone keen to support a great cause. Every slice and every donation counts, and this wonderful total will go towards our final fundraising total for the year, helping make a real difference in our community.
