At our heart, we are a 100% family-owned and fully self-financed business. This independence allows us to make decisions rooted in our values, free from outside influence and focused entirely on doing what’s right for our people, our customers, and our future. Our name, our reputation, and our principles guide every choice we make.
We’re proud to be a business that stands apart in our industry. By almost any measure, we strive to lead the way and we’re obsessed with creating a workplace that people genuinely enjoy being part of. A brilliant business starts with brilliant people, and we never lose sight of that.
But success doesn’t mean standing still. To stay at the top, we’re constantly challenging ourselves to evolve, innovate, and improve. We actively seek out new ideas and better ways of working, ensuring our business continues to grow and thrive for generations to come.
Ultimately, the only limits we recognise are those of our imagination and our shared commitment to preserving the warm, friendly environment that makes this such a special place to work.

Work with me, not for me, as the future of this business is deliberately in the hands of you, the Unette team.
Do you know why our packs are the best in the marketplace?
We have a unique method of manufacture not achieved by any other machine builder. Many have tried to copy, but none can offer the same level of quality and product integrity as the Unette pack. The secret lies within the walls of Avro House, the home of Unette, where our highly skilled engineers build all our own machines to a design perfected by our brilliant owner and inspirational engineer, Martyn Hudson. We have an on-site workshop where all the magic happens – assembly of new machines, manufacture of change parts and consumables.
Quality - day in, day out.
That is the message we work to at Unette. Every pack is inspected by our highly-trained operators and all our work is covered by an advanced quality management system that is verified and accredited by the British Retail Consortium (BRC). All our methods and procedures for testing and maintaining the highest quality levels have been reviewed by BRC and they have given us the highest rating possible AA+ - this means that we can be audited and inspected without any prior warning, which isn’t a problem if you work to ‘quality day in, day out'.
