About Unette
Formed back in the early 1960’s by Stanley George Hudson, Packaging Services soon became a recognised name in the contract filling services sector, specialising in the filling of aluminium tubes.
Over the following years the Company expanded gradually and extended its services to encompass all forms of contract packaging. During the early 1990’s, Martyn Hudson, Stanley’s son, formed an association the with Unette Corporation in the USA to use and develop the innovative design of the 'Saran' tube, which was to become the speciality platform for the company’s activity and remains so today in many guises. One innovation, The Unette Tear Top Tube has become the industry standard for the sports nutrition market and an ever-increasing number of consumer-friendly, 'on the go' applications.
Still owned by the Hudson family, the company has recently moved to a new 30,000 sq.ft office and manufacturing headquarters providing us with increased capacity, state-of-the-art production facility and excellent office accommodation. The company holds ISO 9001 (2015), Soil Association (organic) certification and the British Retail Consortium certification.
Our client base ranges from entrepreneurs to global brands and we pride ourselves on being easy to do business with.
We have recently moved into purpose built, manufacturing facilities on the outskirts of Nantwich, Cheshire.
Our significant growth over recent years has driven our requirement for more capacity. Built in 2019 our new 30,000 sq.ft office and manufacturing headquarters provides us with increased capacity, state-of-the-art production facility and excellent office accommodation.
This investment has been aided by Grant Funding through the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development, who’s policy includes achieving a balanced territorial development of rural economies and communities including the creation and maintenance of employment. Our stunning new offices are situated in the Cheshire countryside and provide an excellent backdrop for our continued efforts into product innovation and development.
